🌟 About the role:
As an Analytics Engineer at Bdeo, you'll play a critical role in our data team. You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data analytics’ stack that empowers our teams to make data-driven decisions. Your main tasks will include:
- Building and optimizing ETL processes to ensure seamless data flow.
- Writing complex SQL queries to transform raw data into actionable insights.
- Developing and maintaining data pipelines using Python.
- Working with AWS services to manage and deploy data solutions.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver effective analytical solutions.
- Leveraging AI-assisted tools to enhance data processing and analysis.
🧩 About you (Our requirements):
Experience Level: Analytics Engineer with +2 years of experience.
Data Team Experience: Proven track record of working effectively in data teams.
Technical Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of SQL, ODM and ETLs (basics and optimization).
- Proficiency with major databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, dynamo…).
- Experience using BI visualization tools such as Metabase or Tableau.
- Strong programming skills in Python (Pandas, boto3, aws cdk…).
- Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud platforms.
Best Practices: Solid understanding of software development best practices.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Spanish.
AI Tools: Interest or experience in using AI-assisted tools is a plus.
